NJSL is partnering with the Women’s National Book Association and the NJLA to promote the first ever National Reading Group Month designed to support and foster public awareness and enjoyment of reading by supporting reading groups, whether they are organized by libraries, book stores, schools or community organizations. NJSL staff has been working with April Judge from NJLA and Jill Tardiff from WNBA to issue a joint news release publicizing the special month and its activities. The partners in this collaboration are planning to develop a model for celebrating National Reading Group Month in coming years.
